Tinarana Stud AI centre was design and built in 2007 and provides the best facilities.

The Stud works in conjunction with John Noonan MVB, MRCVS. John is a renowned specialised equine veterinary surgeon and provides full consultations and all required veterinary needs.

Stud Conditions

All stud fees for 2010 are available on request.

Mares at stud:

50% of the stud fee plus keep charges must be paid when the mare is collected from the stud. The remaining 50% of the stud fee is due when the mare is scanned in foal at 16 days from the last insemination.

Keep charges for mares at stud:
Mares on grass €7.50 per day
Mares stabled €12.50 per day

Veterinary fees are paid directly by the client to the veterinary surgeon.

Semen delivery

Fresh/Chilled semen is available every day from 15th February to 15th August and can be ordered up to 10am each morning on +353 (0)61 622870 or +353 (0)87 2949366.

When ordering an A.I. dose, 50% of the stud fee plus transportation costs (overnight courier service) of approximately €30 must be paid at delivery. The remaining 50% of the stud fee is due when the mare is scanned in foal at 16 days from the last insemination.

Whilst every care is taken, Tinarana Stud will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, illness or disease to people, mare and foals, transportations or otherwise.
In the event that your mare has not gone in foal, a barren certificate from your vet must be issued to Tinarana Stud before the 30th October of that year to obtain stud return for the following season.
